Former President of Ireland Éamon de Valera was one of the dominant political figures in twentieth-century Ireland. His political career spanned over half a century, from 1917 to 1973; he served multiple terms as head of government and head of state. Born: October 14, 1882, Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States. Died: August 29, 1975, Dublin. Buried: Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin. Each Eamon De Valera Bronze Figure is made from cold cast bronze. Cold Cast Bronze can be described as bronze resin. The technique used for making items in cold cast bronze, involves blending bronze powder with epoxy designer resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mould. The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and bronze metal powder which are then left to set. The finished item has the look, cold feel and sometimes (although not always) the weight of a solid bronze piece. Height : 10.4" (26cm). Each Eamon De Valera Bronze Statue is carefully packaged for shipping.
